Grape and Wine Festival in Bardolino (October 2–6, 2025)

One of the most eagerly awaited events of the season. For five days, Bardolino is transformed into an open-air lounge: food and wine stands along the lakefront, live music, Bardolino DOC tastings, fireworks over the lake, and a dreamy autumn setting. The perfect place to toast the autumn with a good glass of wine and breathtaking views.

Profumi di Mosto, Valtenesi (October 2025)

In Valtenesi, between Moniga and the surrounding area, Profumi di Mosto takes center stage: a food and wine itinerary through the region's wineries, with tastings, guided tours, and autumn menus. An authentic way to get in touch with local producers and the Garda wine-making tradition.

Risotto Festival in Isola della Scala (until October 12, 2025) 

A little out of the way, but we assure you it's worth the detour: the Risotto Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Italy. Risottos of all kinds, a farmers' market, craft stalls, and a rustic atmosphere... Perfect for a day of autumn comfort food!

The Pumpkin Village, “La Collina di Matilde” (Lonato del Garda)

Pumpkins everywhere, a festive atmosphere, and lots of activities for families: the Villaggio delle Zucche in Lonato has become a regular autumn event. With pumpkin patches, carving workshops, tractor rides, educational farms, and picnic areas, it's the perfect destination for those who want to experience an American-style autumn... but on Lake Garda!

The Pumpkin Field at Flover Farm (Bussolengo)

Flover Farm also offers its own pumpkin patch, with lots of activities for young and old alike: pumpkin hunting, photo shoots, seasonal food, games, and workshops. All in a fairytale-like, colorful atmosphere that adults will also enjoy.

Gardaland Magic Halloween (Castelnuovo del Garda)

From October 4 to November 2, 2025, Gardaland dresses up in a Halloween theme: pumpkins, monsters, shows, and special events for the whole family. If you're looking for a different kind of autumn experience, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the park in a... Thrilling!

Giorni del Miele (Honey Days), Lazise (October 4-6, 2025)

A fair dedicated to the fascinating world of beekeeping. At Giorni del Miele, you can discover and taste dozens of varieties of honey, participate in informative meetings, and browse through equipment and natural products. It's also a good idea for families with children.

Desenzano Antiques Market (October 6, 2025)

Every first Sunday of the month, the historic center of Desenzano hosts stalls selling antiques, gifts, vinyl records, modern antiques, and vintage curiosities. Perfect for an alternative afternoon stroll through the streets of the village, perhaps with a break in a café overlooking the lake.

Mercantico di Lonato (October 19, 2025)

Another regular event for lovers of vintage and crafts. The Mercantico enlivens the center of Lonato del Garda with stalls, music, and street food, in a very picturesque autumn setting.

Lake Garda Music Festival (Limone sul Garda) – October 16-18, 2025

An international festival that brings choirs and orchestras from all over the world to the shores of Lake Garda. The events take place in scenic locations, combining music, culture, and nature. An excellent opportunity to discover Limone in the “off-season.”

Autumn walks by the lake, to breathe in a magical atmosphere

In addition to the events, October is the perfect month to enjoy Lake Garda at its most peaceful and romantic. Here are some tips for scenic walks:

- The Sirmione lakefront at sunset.
- The path connecting Bardolino to Garda, among vineyards and olive groves.
- The park of the Rocca di Manerba.
- The alleys of Malcesine with their picturesque views.
